Seafood lovers, this one's for you! If you have a passion for Japanese-style seafood or oysters on the half shell, then this place is your dream come true. I've sampled everything on the menu, but I always return to the molcajete. You can enjoy it like ceviche with tostadas, saltine crackers, or savor it as a cold seafood stew. Each bite is a delightful essence of the sea, reminiscent of oysters on the half shell, but without the fuss of assembling each bite with lime and extras. Here, all the goodies are already mixed in, creating a refreshingly perfect combination for a hot summer day. Picture refreshing cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, zesty lime, aromatic parsley, and crisp red onions, each mingling with shrimp, oyster, abalone, or octopus, providing just the right texture and deliciousness. This is the kind of exquisite bite you'd find at a fancy restaurant, served in two tiny shot glasses for $15. But here, it's all about generous portions and authentic flavors. Dive in and enjoy! I've tried the tacos, but they didn't stand out to me. I've also been tempted by the cooked seafood dishes but haven't yet ventured away from the pure, refreshing taste of the cold seafood options in the several years I've been frequenting this place. One day, I'll muster the courage, but until then, I'll keep indulging in my favorite cold seafood delights.

Food tasted great. Small menu, great micheladas. Outdoor seating available but no alcoholic drinks can be served.

Food was good, service was excellent, ambiance was OK. The only little problemo for me was at time to pay, I used credit card and Tip was not an option to add to credit card payment, it has to be cash, I was fortunate enough to have some cash on me (normally I never carry cash, I know I know, I should). That was it, other than that, highly recommended, and double down on Marlin tacos.

If you are craving ceviche, this is the place for you. I tried both the shrimp and fish ceviche tostada, and while both were good, the shrimp one was better! You can get this for yourself, or to share with others. They give extra limes on the side in case you want to add more to the ceviche. There is both seating inside and outside, and it is quite home-y feeling inside. Not all of the servers speak English, but don't let that stop you from coming and trying!

FOOD: I had the marlin taco - it was okay. But the aguachile was amazing - will def come back to try more on the menu! SERVICE + AMBIANCE: This is a small, family style restaurant. The service was quick and friendly. You can pay with a card but make sure to bring CASH to tip!

The review that says "they don't speak English.." **eyeroll** BFF was digging in the trash for work earlier in the day. We were supposed to have dinner in Brea but, she had to go home and shower. We ended up here because her husband said "you can't have sushi because I want sushi but, I have to go to work." So we come to yelp... What a pleasant surprise! I like how it's a small menu, small restaurant, and friendly service. Everything my BFF and I had, we enjoyed. Botana de camaron, pulpo y aguachile - super fresh, had all the things and you know I am extra. I want to try a little of everything! Taco de camaron and taco de pescado - we ordered 1 of each to try and share. YUM. We were told that we need to get the Marlin taco. Ostiones - tasted fresh and hit the spot Michelada - the mix is amazing! My friend ended up getting some to-go for her husband. She ordered enchiladas togo for her husband and he really enjoyed it. I can't wait to bring my husband to this gem. I want to try the soups! I love soups. Our server was awesome. She was super helpful and friendly.
